I figured this question would guarantee a heated debate between Bagman and the Nose. Me personally, I'm taking LeBron here. I get that we as a sports community get bored with the same old thing every year, but Bron is the best player on the planet and that hasn't changed. And he's obviously more important to his team than Curry is. Just imagine what would happen if Bron got hurt...who wants to live in a world where Mozgov and Tristan Thompson are it?

Lebron definitely the MVP. Averaged more points this season than Curry and definitely more important to his team. Curry got the press because of the 3's and I can see giving it to him because he broke the single season record but Lebron with the points, rebounds, assists and important to his team, MVP. Still the KIng.

I agree on all except for giving it to Curry because he broke the record. If we are talking MVP generally that discussion evolves into who is the most indispensable to their team. Can't see how it shouldn't realistically be LeBron every season. But I know people won't vote that way. We humans get too complacent. We get bored with greatness. Meanwhile, LeBron can change teams all willy nilly and still wind up in the NBA Finals each year. He could probably take the Knicks to the Finals. CRAZY

I am going against the grain here and going for Curry on the fact that he is his team. Can we please remember that Lebron said before he moved back that it would take years for Cleveland to be in the playoffs. So, what does Cavs do they buy contracts for great people and make a team. Who do the Warriors have who are the big names. Sorry no Kyrie here and Curry is definitely more important to his team.

I'm talking about these Finals, now. If Bron drops another triple-double tonight, there's NO WAY he isn't the MVP.

You are correct that he is the best in the Finals it is just hard for me as a coach or player to want to give the trophy to the losing side. Yes, he has played better then I have ever seen him and I commend him for that but also it took him this long to put that weight on his shoulders and bare it. Let me pose the question to you guys out there would you accept the MVP Finals trophy if you lost?

I mean, I wouldn't give it away to Curry. I wouldn't love having it, knowing a loss was attached to it. But these guys are all human like the rest of us--we are all inherently selfish. Even though, to LeBron's credit, he has spoken as if he was "team first." I am certain that he wants the individual accolades as well. Helps him stack up against MJ, who (let's face it) is his only competition for greatest of all time. That's the last hurdle he has to conquer. He's already won titles. Now it's just how do his titles and personal accolades stack up against MJ. He's got to be thinking about his legacy. So with all that said, HECK NO you don't give it away.

So now that we know Andre Iguodala won the MVP what say you guys are you going to cry that LeBron didn't get it?

No, I don't have an issue with a guy on the winning team getting the MVP. Plus, Iggy was awesome. But I wouldn't have argued with LeBron getting it, either. He missed too many shots from outside last night, though. If he had knocked home some of those three-pointers and brought the Cavs back late, scoring over 40-points, I think you could have made a case for Bron. But he didn't.
